JDE Specialist/Analyst
SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled ERP Specialist/Analyst to join our team in a hybrid capacity, combining remote troubleshooting with onsite visits to provide hands-on support. This role requires travel to various company locations, including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and offices, to ensure smooth ERP operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with ERP systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related Analyst, assisting users with troubleshooting system issues and resolving transactional errors.
- Analyze and resolve challenges related to ERP workflows, ensuring seamless operations across departments such as production, supply chain, and inventory.
- Travel regularly to company sites to provide in-person ERP support, build relationships with users, and enhance system adoption.
- Work remotely when not traveling, managing support tickets, monitoring system performance, and providing virtual assistance.
- Learn and adapt to the organization's ERP platform, participating in training as required.
- Develop and maintain user manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials to ensure consistency in ERP usage.
- Identify inefficiencies in system workflows and propose process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Extract and analyze ERP data to generate insights that support business decisions and operational efficiency.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and reconfiguration efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Escalate complex technical issues to IT teams or external vendors for resolution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to ERP functionality and user experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience supporting ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of key business functions such as production planning, inventory management, procurement, and finance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve ERP-related issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and assist users of varying technical proficiency.
- Experience documenting system processes, creating user guides, and standardizing ERP workflows.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to company locations as needed.
- Experience with data extraction, reporting, and SQL queries is a plus.
- Familiarity with system upgrades, configuration changes, and testing protocols.
