Operations Manager
We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Operations Manager with a strong background in chemical manufacturing and a particular emphasis on maintenance leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, driving equipment reliability, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all plant operations, with a strong focus on preventive and predictive maintenance of chemical processing equipment.
Manage maintenance teams and contractors to ensure timely execution of work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce downtime, improve asset reliability, and extend equipment life.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, PSM).
Collaborate with Engineering, EHS, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement and capital projects.
Monitor operational KPIs and drive performance improvements in productivity, cost control, and equipment uptime.
Lead root cause analyses and corrective action plans for equipment failures or production interruptions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or maintenance management within a chemical manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical integrity, reliability-centered maintenance, and CMMS systems.
Proven leadership skills with a safety-first mindset and ability to drive operational excellence.
