Quality Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong background in failure analysis within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying root causes of product failures, driving corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform detailed failure analysis on semiconductor devices and components using tools such as FIB, SEM, TEM, X-ray, and electrical characterization techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Process Engineering, and Production to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Analyze defect trends and reliability issues to proactively improve product quality and reduce scrap/rework.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of failure analysis reports, findings, and recommendations.
Support customer quality investigations and provide timely and accurate technical feedback.
Assist in the development and refinement of quality control and testing protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor failure modes and analysis methodologies.
Familiarity with industry standards such as JEDEC, ISO, and IPC.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
