Quality Engineer

Job Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes. This role involves significant interaction with various departments to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and continuous improvement in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance and Control:

    • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
    • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with aviation standards.
  2. Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in MRO processes.
    • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
    • Prepare and submit quality reports to regulatory bodies.
  4. Training and Development:

    • Provide training to staff on quality standards and procedures.
    • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  5. Supplier Quality Management:

    • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
    • Ensure that all parts and materials meet quality standards.
  6. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated with relevant aviation regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and other regulatory requirements.
  7. Customer Interaction:

    • Liaise with customers to address quality concerns.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a quality role within the aviation industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
