The Quality Manager will ensure that all quality, food safety, and regulatory standards are met and will uphold and maintain food safety and quality protocols through global food safety initiative programs. This role requires a commitment to upholding plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards in all job functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, training, and validation of quality management systems and ensure regulatory and client compliance.
- Oversee and participate in audits, addressing and investigating complaints from internal and external sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and ensure adherence to GMP, GFSI, Sanitation, HACCP, and FDA/OSHA regulations.
- Work with vendors to address noncompliance issues and support the President in identifying and addressing technical and leadership gaps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control or food safety, including at least 5 years in a management role.
- Knowledge of quality regulatory frameworks such as HACCP, FDA, SQF, GFSI, FSMA.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Strong management and supervisory abilities.
