Rotating Equipment Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Specialist with deep expertise in vibration analysis to join our team in a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical rotating equipment, diagnosing equipment issues, and driving predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced vibration analysis and diagnostics on pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and other rotating equipment.
Develop and execute condition monitoring programs using tools such as vibration data collectors, proximity probes, and spectrum analysis software.
Interpret data trends to detect early signs of mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot chronic equipment problems and optimize asset performance.
Maintain detailed documentation of equipment condition, analysis reports, and maintenance recommendations.
Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in all maintenance and monitoring activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of experience working with rotating equipment in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
Certified Vibration Analyst (e.g., ISO Category II or higher) strongly preferred.
Proficient with tools and software used in vibration and condition monitoring (e.g., CSI, SKF, Bently Nevada).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
