I'm partnered with one of Germans leading Logistics companies recruiting a brand new Group Procurement Category Manager, Warehousing to join the team.
This is working for a renowned company in the logistics sector that is embarking on a bold Procurement transformation programme and building a brand new Indirect Procurement team of 12.
Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, you will join a greenfield role, managing the Material Handling Equipment and Warehousing Equipment category worth circa 80m Euro.
You will be instrumental in establishing key strategic partners and building robust SRM and Category plans across the group.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to stamp their mark in a newly created role.
As Group Category Manager you will be responsible for:
* Manage the procurement activities of the MHE and WE across the group.
* Deliver productivity targets by creating and executing of the strategy and future vision for your category.
* Establish and develop relationship with all suppliers
* Advance and foster close working relationship with key stakeholders
* Deliver the Group objectives in terms of cost, quality, service, and innovation.
* Promote and manage a robust supplier base to secure the Procurement targets for compliance and reporting.
* Implementation of sustainable processes, compliance requirements and category strategy.
