Category Manager - Professional Services and Real Estate

- Salary range: $120,000-$140,000 + bonus
A leading insurance firm is looking for a Category Manager to join their growing strategic sourcing department.

The Category Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop best practices within the real estate and professional services category
- Advise business leaders in the corporate services and real estate function through out the category management, sourcing, and contracting journey
- Drive cost reductions
- Lead sourcing events and develop supplier negotiations
- Lead complex, high visibility negotiations with major vendors with major vendors, negotiating key terms and working with stakeholders from legal, information protection, risk management, and more
- Utilize procurement technology
- Manage new and existing legacy contracts and drive standards/best practices for assigned spend
- Introduce new suppliers through thorough evaluations
- Manage category performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience
- Experience sourcing corporate services and real estate including travel and fleet
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiations, and influence stakeholders
- Experience managing supplier relationships
- Ability to successfully interact with stakeholders
- Coupa experience is a plus
