A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Director of Quality to ensure all products meet AS9100 standards.
The Director of Quality will have the following responsibilities:
- Develops internal protocols to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Supports functional leadership by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Collaborates with process experts and production staff to understand issues and provide guidance on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Performs root cause analyses and ensures thorough investigation of root cause, corrective actions, preventive actions, and product impact.
- Conducts external audits in collaboration with third-party agencies.
- Updates, maintains, and publishes the audit calendar.
- Recommends corrective actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Oversees the gauge and calibration system, including third-party calibration services.
The ideal Director of Quality candidate will have the following skillset:
- Demonstrates strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, effectively engaging with all company levels.
- Extensive knowledge of AS9100 standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
