Position Overview:
The EHS Manager will oversee environmental, health, and safety programs in a semiconductor manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have a background in semiconductor manufacturing, with experience managing EHS programs specific to the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs to ensure a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations, conducting audits and inspections as needed.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Identify EHS risks in semiconductor processes and implement control measures.
- Provide EHS training for staff on safety, hazardous materials, and emergency procedures.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management and permit reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through data analysis and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations and product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industries.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in EHS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
