Environment Health Safety and Quality Specialist
Salary: $80,000-120,000

Just outside of the city in East Chicago, IN you will be responsible for ensuring safe and environmentally conscious operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance through procedure development, auditing, and advising
- Supervising employee training on health, safety, and environmental issues
- Coordinating incident analysis as well as managing emergency response programs
- Being in charge of the plants waste minimization and Behavioral Safety Programs with a focus on sustainability and improving quality of health
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years in Manufacturing experience (chemical manufacturing preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA and EPA. Knowledge
- Strong time management and people skills
