Job Summary:
This organization is a leading global manufacturer currently looking for an Environmental, Health, & Safety Specialist to join their facility located in New Jersey. This position is a key member of the location's EHS team and is highly visible in the plant. The position provides an excellent platform for potential future growth!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support fatality prevention efforts, including deploying key elements and coaching leaders.
- Analyze injury and incident data to assist in implementing targeted injury reduction strategies.
- Manage the industrial hygiene program, including IH sampling, database administration, hazardous material management, ergonomics, and radiation protection.
- Provide technical expertise in injury/incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
- Coach departmental leaders on EHS responsibilities.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve EHS objectives.
- Lead and support various EHS responsibilities.
- Serve as the technical expert for safety and health programs, including lock-out tag-out, machine guarding, mobile equipment, fall control, and confined spaces.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of health or safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution- in environmental, safety, or health discipline from an accredited institution.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
