Position Overview: The Head of Operational Excellence will lead the development and execution of strategies to enhance operational performance and efficiency. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of operational excellence experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, quality, and productivity.
- Drive the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies throughout the organization.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and performance, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employee engagement and participation in initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational excellence initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct training and workshops to enhance employees' skills in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Oversee project management for key initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable results.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into operational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational excellence within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on pharmaceuticals.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification required.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in a pharmaceutical setting is a plus.
