With over 150 years of experience in the industry, this castings supplier is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Direct maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Oversee and participate in maintenance tasks alongside team members.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance of equipment with maintenance planners, purchasing, and vendors.
- Monitor production equipment uptime and efficiencies, driving improvements.
- Train and qualify employees for necessary functions and safety protocols.
- Conduct safety inspections, provide training, and investigate accidents.
- Manage contracted maintenance resources and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
- Perform administrative duties including report writing and expenditure approval.

- Knowledge of machine design, repair, and maintenance.
- Critical thinking skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and basic electrical functions.
- Ability to analyze data and suggest alternative solutions.
- Proficiency in basic computer software.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).
- Five years of industrial maintenance experience (ten years preferred).
- Three years of supervisory experience in a medium to heavy industrial environment.
- Bilingualism (Spanish-English) beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally, and up to 20 lbs frequently.
- Walk, stand, or sit continually; occasionally squat, kneel, or climb.
- Manual dexterity for tool manipulation and computer systems.
- Correctable vision and hearing for communication and safety.
