Title: Manager of Engineering and Facilities
Company Summary: A Fortune-500 Retail company with great growth opportunity is looking for an experienced go-getter to lead their own maintenance team in Dallas, Texas.
The Manager of Engineering and Facilities will:
- Report to the Senior Manager of E&F
- Lead a team of 10-15 technicians in supporting the maintenance and operation of all equipment, while insuring minimal downtime
- Provide technical guidance across facilities and demonstrate successful leadership skills
- Perform corrective, predictive, and preventative procedures across conveyors systems, equipment, and control systems
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, as well as electrical and plumbing facilities
- Review contract bids for repairs and coordinate respective projects
- Comply with all safety practices to promote awareness across the DC
The Manager of Engineering and Facilities should have the following qualifications:
- Experience working in distribution centers or retail warehouses
- Experience working with conveyor belts
- Background in predictive or preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement
- The initiative to take on leadership responsibilities
