Seeking an experienced Plant Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of equipment and processes, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Project Management: Lead engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with production goals, timelines, and budgets.
Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
Equipment Maintenance: Develop and oversee maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, conducting regular audits and training sessions for staff.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to support operational objectives and resolve engineering-related challenges.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the engineering department budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Technology Integration: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on engineering performance, project status, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
