Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled PLC Developer to design, develop, and implement PLC programmes for our automatic storage systems. The PLC Developer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimisation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PLC programmes for automatic storage systems
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot PLC hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Carrying out system analyses, determining requirements and implementing them in PLC programme specifications
- Document and maintain detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and user manuals for PLC systems.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.).
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- German and English speaking
