In the role of Process Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to serve as an expert in one or more core Quality Processes integrated into the production shop floor. Alongside maintaining internal processes, you will guide the adoption of our client's best practices. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential to ensure widespread acceptance and comprehension of enforced concepts. Given the intricacies involved, preference will be given to candidates with strong analytical abilities.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert in applying and maintaining Quality Processes and Concepts.
- Advocate for premium quality by prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deploy quality assurance processes and tools.
- Assist in coordinating quality training efforts.
- Engineer solutions to recurring failures and other quality issues affecting plant operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing data and statistical analysis techniques.
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis methods.
- Managing Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems.
Who are you?
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- BS in Quality, Manufacturing or Product Engineering is preferred.
- CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or Six Sigma Yellow or higher is preferred as well.
- Proven ability to react to issues impacting production with a sense of urgency, promptly assessing the issue, and developing a feasible action plan and following it through to successful completion.
