Title: Procurement & Contracts Advisor

Overview:
My client is looking for a highly qualified individual to spearhead procurement strategies, provide strategic advice to clients, and draft contract documents for transportation and water/waste water projects using both traditional and alternative delivery methods. This role, Procurement and Contracts Advisor, entails extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders across diverse markets and regions. It is a hands-on position where you will advise clients and directly contribute to the development of project-related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project risk analyses and recommend procurement strategies.
- Prepare contract documents for both traditional and alternative project delivery methods.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop appropriate specifications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations.
- Develop procurement processes and assist clients with procurement management.
- Facilitate industry meetings and draft third-party agreements. * Conduct contract reviews and analyze potential contract claims.
- Assist in crafting Teaming Agreements and Professional Services Agreements for alternative delivery projects.
- Participate in marketing and expanding Owner Advisory Services.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, non-technical, and legal teams.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
