Our client is seeking an exceptional Procurement Operations Manager to steer transformational change and create operational excellence. This role will require you to be on-site in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic procurement initiatives that support overall business goals.
- Oversee operational processes ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Leverage advanced tools for process optimization and decision-making support.
- Engage actively with stakeholders across different departments fostering collaboration towards common objectives.
- Implement policies and create strategic processes
- Guide transformation of the department to a more strategical approach
- Develops plans for improving tool usage, and serves as a help desk for users related to S2P tools.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications such as the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are advantageous
- 7+ years of procurement experience, ideally for a Fortune 500 company
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle systems
- Experience taking organization through ERP implementation
- Proven track leading transformation
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
