You would be responsible for a team of 5, purchasing finished products across various industry segments.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee material planning, purchasing prices, and inventory management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Regularly review and manage purchasing forecasts.
- Develop and implement material planning and procurement strategies across various product categories.
- Manage and execute purchasing price controls.
- Perform day-to-day purchasing activities.
Team Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and manage the purchasing team.
- Enhance and refine the key performance indicator system.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Participate in personnel selection and conduct employee interviews.
Your Profile:
Technical Requirements:
- A degree in purchasing, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management.
- Proven experience in managing a purchasing department.
- Expertise in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, policies, and processes.
- Proficient in SAP (SD, MM, MW).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Fluent in both German and English, with proficiency in Chinese being a plus but not essential.
