Position Summary:
The Production Manager will lead the extrusion production team and support the further optimization of manufacturing processes. Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment.
The Production Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production personnel to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
- Ensure the utmost compliance with all necessary EHS and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing and other best practices to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
The Production Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
