This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage quality control systems to ensure the production of defect-free electronic components and products.
- Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with production teams to develop and implement solutions that enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action investigations for quality issues, and develop and track action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components, including auditing and evaluating supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality records.
- Develop and oversee quality testing and inspection processes to verify product integrity.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement quality enhancements.
- Collaborate with customers to address quality concerns and provide timely and effective resolutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
