About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the manufacturer's Operations and Engineering teams. You'll tackle various quality issues, including those arising from suppliers, production lines, or customer feedback. Your responsibilities will involve conducting key quality processes (details provided in training), addressing corrective actions, managing client portals, and following up on critical items. Additionally, you'll analyse trends in non-conformance and implement corrective actions as needed.

This is a fully on-site position located at the manufacturer's Jefferson City, MO facility, with standard business hours (Monday-Friday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the implementation and auditing of industry quality standards (details provided in training)
  • Utilise core industry tools and methodologies (details provided in training)
  • Leverage various quality tools for analysis and improvement
  • Possess a foundational understanding of statistical methods (details provided in training)
  • Be proficient in metro-logy practices
  • Apply problem-solving frameworks (details provided in training)
  • Develop and implement control plans
  • Implement Lean and continuous improvement methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Continuous improvement mindset
