Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Safety Quality Manager to join our Clients team in Kentland, Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality within our beverage production facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and expertise in food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement food safety and quality assurance programs to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and documentation to ensure compliance with food safety protocols.
- Lead the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality control processes.
- Train and educate staff on food safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate and address any quality issues or non-conformity's identified during production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety regulations.
- Experience in SOP writing and leading audits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
