Your Impact:
As the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the quality management program, administering training and coaching programs, monitoring adherence to processes, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. You will be tasked with ensuring compliance with standards and regulations such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D, and ISO 13485.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the organization's quality management and improvement efforts.
- Ensure the proper functioning of Quality System procedures and maintain compliance with required standards and regulations.
- Develop, coordinate, and lead the internal audit program, including product and process audits.
- Manage the Corrective/Preventive Actions process and drive closure of identified actions.
- Establish strategic plans, policies, and procedures to meet or exceed internal and external customers' needs and expectations.
- Provide expertise, training, and coaching in the application of the DMAIC methodology and Six Sigma Lean tool set.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Chemistry or Engineering desired; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in process, project, and plant engineering for specialty chemicals design and manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience and skills.
- Expert understanding of IATF 16949 and implementation into a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100D, and ISO 13485.
- Solid working knowledge of PPAP processes.
- Knowledge of standard quality practices, such as FMEA's, APQP, SPC, DOE, etc.
- Ability to travel to support manufacturing sites.
