Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to support our business development efforts in the flexible packaging sector. This position will be remote, offering flexibility to work from anywhere in the USA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a strong understanding of the packaging industry, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business and grow existing accounts in the flexible packaging industry.
- Identify, prospect, and engage with potential customers through various channels (cold calls, emails, industry events, etc.).
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their packaging requirements.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity to better serve clients and adapt sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, processes, and industry standards is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
