Sanitation Manager (Benton County, Washington)

This role is responsible for evaluating and validating equipment hygiene, process lines and design guidelines. You will collaborate with teams such as engineering, operations and quality throughout all projects and productions.
The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for:
- Specializing on sanitary and hygienic design of production equipment.
- Implementing protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with BRC, FSMA, FDA, OSHA, State and Local regulations and company-wide standards.
- Contribute to corrective action plans to foster continuous improvement and advance sanitation effectiveness.
- Collaborate to regulate food safety and quality concerns in response to hygienic design flaws as needed.
The Sanitation Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Food Science/Safety, engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in food safety and 5 years overseeing sanitary design within food manufacturing setting preferred.
- Sanitary Design Certification required as well as proficient technical skills.
