Senior Commodity Buyer
This is a permanent position for a Senior Commodity Buyer in North Carolina. Our client, a reputable Automotive company, is seeking a Senior Commodity Buyer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the company is obtaining the best value for its money
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure that procurement needs are met
- Analyze market trends and conditions to inform purchasing decisions
- Manage a team of commodity buyers

- Strong analytical skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Must have 4+ years of strategic purchasing experience within the segments related to Battery Electric Vehicle systems, Electrical, Control Systems, Motor Systems, Fluids or Electronic areas
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
