Senior Industrial Engineer for Nationally Leading Retailer

Summary:
A leading national retailer is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team in San Bernardino County. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the creation and upkeep of precise and efficient engineered standards through comprehensive time and frequency studies. You will establish and sustain "Best Methods" for all job functions, delivering training on productivity and work methods to both management and the hourly workforce. Additionally, you will support capital projects by conducting work sampling, cost justification (Return on Investment), and cost/benefit analyses
The Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Define "Best Methods" for job functions
- Support capital projects with cost justification and ROI analysis
- Conduct time and frequency studies
- Collect and analyze data for process and continuous improvement initiatives
The Engineering Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering
- Experience with Standard Data and Predetermined Time Systems
- Experience with Best Method development and implementation
- 3 years of experience working with process improvement, cost reduction and project implementation
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
