Position: Senior Analyst - Procurement
Company Overview: Our organization, a rapidly growing entity, offers an exciting opportunity within our Procurement Department. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Procurement function. Under the guidance of the Head of Procurement, the Senior Analyst will tackle increasingly complex procurement initiatives and collaborate with various corporate functions and stakeholders. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with an expectation of 50% office presence.
Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Analyst in our Procurement Department, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks:
Support or Lead Sourcing Initiatives: Collaborate with your Manager to initiate and drive sourcing projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
Vendor Qualification: Solicit and assess potential vendors for assigned categories using Request for Information (RFI) processes.
Develop RFPs: Create Request for Proposals (RFPs) that facilitate price discovery and vendor selection, fostering competitive supplier engagement.
Negotiation Expertise: Negotiate terms and conditions of supply, leveraging support from your Manager to secure favorable agreements.
Supply Agreement Drafting: Draft and implement supply agreements, incorporating insights from Legal and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with company goals.
Supplier Onboarding: Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new suppliers, supporting the transition from agreements to active partnerships.
Supplier Relationship Management: Continuously nurture supplier relationships and manage ongoing interactions to optimize value and performance.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve product, service, and supply chain issues, including those related to lead times, availability, quality, and performance.
Market Analysis: Monitor raw material price indexes to identify market trends and make informed procurement decisions.
Field Location Support: Address field location inquiries and ensure strict compliance with vendor agreements.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline).
Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Excellent project management capabilities and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in research and data analysis, with a keen eye for market trends.
Legal understanding related to supply agreements is a plus.
