Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Top Fortune 200 Manufacturing Company that caters to the Healthcare, Beauty, Food & Beverage, Retail and Electronics Industry. This organization is looking to expand its team with a Sr. Electrical Engineer where this candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical machine design for automated packaging equipment.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and troubleshoot systems effectively.
- Develop, update, and modify PLC, Motion, and HMI code, safety systems, electrical schematics, and BOMs.
- Design electrical schematics and panel layouts to meet standards
- Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, and engineers to ensure projects meet specifications.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Resolve supply chain issues and improve processes.
- Conduct research, diagnostics, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams on development projects.
- Support production projects, respond to inquiries, provide estimates, and offer cost-effective solutions. Assist with field service, machine integration, and guide assembly teams.
The Sr. Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET University.
- Minimum of 3 years in electrical/controls/programming
- Experience in high-speed automated packaging machinery
- Proficiency in Electrical CAD software.
