Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the Engineering sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Ludwigsburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products and services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the supply chain team, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Professional certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCP
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
