A global leader in the Food & Beverage industry is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Manager to join the leadership team at one of our key facilities.

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Operations Team by overseeing daily plant operations, managing employees, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for monitoring all activities related to these units and providing upper-level management with regular updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage: Oversee all plant employees (hourly and salaried) across production, warehousing, distribution, raw materials, and maintenance.
  • Production Monitoring: Ensure workflow meets production schedule deadlines and adheres to health and safety standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop, implement, and uphold operational KPIs to foster a world-class manufacturing environment.
  • Compliance: Monitor production floor activities to ensure compliance with FDA/USDA best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Promote a positive team environment with an emphasis on collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate materials are on hand to meet production schedules and forecast future requirements.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure production activities comply with the organization's standards and applicable laws/regulations.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in a food production environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
  • Business Acumen: Superior business acumen with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in leadership and change management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise with cGMP/GMP manufacturing and working knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations, requirements, and best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
