Job Title: Air Management Systems Engineer - Vehicle Controls Systems Team
Location: Greensboro, NC (Full Relocation Package Available) - Technology Center
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus + 35 Days of PTO (Up to 42 for Senior-Level Candidates)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No Expectation of Overtime)

Job Description:

We are currently representing an industry-leading $138 billion Semi-Truck Manufacturing Company based in Greensboro, NC. We are looking for an Air Management Systems Engineer to join our Vehicle Controls Systems Team. As an Air Management Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of vehicle air management systems, working with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional growth and maintenance in Vehicle Air Management Systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop engineering concept designs, manage post-production maintenance, and oversee engineering administration tasks.

  • Ensure new designs meet business objectives, quality standards, delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and feature targets.

  • Provide engineering solutions that align with organizational strategies and requirements set by the Product Platform Team.

  • Perform, evaluate, and report on Verification & Validation (V&V) activities at the component, sub-system, and vehicle levels.

  • Coordinate root-cause analysis and component releases (hardware/software) to resolve technical product quality issues.

  • Support the development of modular systems and components to optimize part diversity, enhancing overall design flexibility.
