Plant Manager
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will drive production efficiency, ensure safety compliance, manage personnel, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring on-time production, quality standards, and resource optimization.
- Develop and manage production schedules, working with teams to meet demand and deadlines.
- Lead, train, and develop plant staff while promoting a culture of safety and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and improve product quality, resolving any issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage plant budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing production costs.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management and communicate effectively across teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3+ years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
- Proven leadership skills and experience with cost control and process optimization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and continuous improvement techniques.
