About:
A leading dairy manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team in beautiful Lubbock, TX. In this role, you will lead production meetings, train staff, and optimize production operations to ensure the plant is operating safely and efficiently.
The Production Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee production processes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Train production staff
- Monitor plant product quality
- Review microbiology tests
- Ensure compliance with GMP's and HAACP standards
- Collaborate with department heads as necessary
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on a scheduled basis
The Production Manager will have the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience of dairy manufacturing plant leadership
- Bachelor's degree in business, food sciences or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of dairy manufacturing processes
- Six Sigma certifications a plus
- HACCP certifications a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
