Senior Buyer - IT & Services
A rapidly growing, industry leader in manufacturing dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions is growing out their indirect procurement team. They are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support across indirect categories, including IT, professional services, marketing, and other indirect spend areas. This role will be responsible for supporting sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the best value for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sourcing strategies for indirect categories, including IT, professional services, marketing, and other indirect spend areas.
- Involvement in negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions, ensuring cost savings and value for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier base to support the company's indirect procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and negotiating for indirect categories, including IT, professional services, and marketing.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
