Role Overview:
As an Account Manager, you will be pivotal in driving business growth through strategic initiatives and managing the full sales cycle within your territory. You will collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Key Account Managers to coordinate projects and achieve your targets. Your primary responsibility will be to generate sales and business, leveraging your expertise to build strong customer relationships and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Represent and communicate the company's comprehensive industrial product line to both potential and current customers.
- Build and maintain direct business relationships, engaging in ongoing discussions to provide tailored solutions for customer projects.
- Service existing accounts and establish new ones by proactively calling on potential accounts within your assigned territory.
- Monitor competitive publications and gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and accounts to stay ahead in the market.
Candidate Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial sales.
- Proven ability to identify and build relationships with potential new customers, driving revenue growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred.
- This role is fully remote, but must be local to Greenville, South Carolina.
