Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with the automation team to foster a collaborative and learning-rich environment.
- Ensure the continuous operation of GMP process and facility equipment, aiming for maximum uptime.
- Lead technical efforts in the lifecycle management of automation systems, from design and validation to commissioning.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for automation system initiatives.
- Craft and implement specifications and procedures for automation systems, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance.
- Offer technical guidance and support to resolve automation system issues, enhancing manufacturing and maintenance processes.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Industrial Controls, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with industrial automation and controls within a manufacturing setting, with a preference for backgrounds in biotech/pharmaceutical industries.
- Availability for on-call rotation to support manufacturing operations outside of regular hours.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC, HMI development environments, and familiarity with safety practices.
- An understanding of SCADA, Building Automation Systems, and potentially IT/OT network systems and security.
