We are looking for an Automation Engineer (m/w/d) to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing automation processes, ensuring system security, and contributing to the implementation of cutting-edge technologies in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Enhance automation and digital security across manufacturing systems
- Support crisis management, lifecycle management, and system inventory processes
- Collaborate on Industry 4.0 initiatives and drive innovation in production automation
- Engage with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Manage projects to upgrade production systems while ensuring compliance with regulations, safety, and efficiency
- Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and create validation protocols
- Supervise external service providers for automation projects
Your Profile:
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, industrial automation, or control systems is preferred
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in cross-functional environments
- High attention to detail and commitment to GMP and quality standards
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
