About This Opportunity …
The Planner role is a full-time position will manage the supply replenishment needs in a food and beverage manufacturing company. This position reports to the Purchasing Manager and does not supervise staff. Works closely with Planning, Marketing, Finance, AP/AR, QA, and Supplier Management. This Buyer ensures purchase accuracy, anticipates potential issues, and actively participates in weekly plant production meetings.

- Managing and creating purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and completeness
- Monitoring open orders for potential delays and production disruptions, expediting shipments when necessary, and collaborating with suppliers to adjust delivery schedules as needed.
- Negotiating competitive pricing with suppliers, prepares and analyzes monthly cost reports
- Managing inventory levels, forecasting material needs, and working closely with suppliers
- Addressing changes in materials, packaging, and production schedules to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery.

- Advanced skills in computer software, with strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Previous experience with food safety
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field
- 3 years of experience in purchasing or production planning
