Job Title: Chemical Process Engineer
Location: Greater Philadelphia Area
Salary: $160,000 - 170,000 + 18% bonus + relo
Summary:
A reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Chemical Process Engineer for their Greater Philadelphia Area facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Chemical Process Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Conduct process analysis, simplification, and intensification for APIs and intermediates.
- Plan and transition laboratory synthetic procedures to pilot and large-scale production.
- Develop safe and environmentally friendly methods for managing by-products and waste.
- Design experiments to solve engineering issues in process development and production.
- Collaborate with CMOs to optimize equipment usage and oversee day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
The ideal Process Engineer will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in an API Manufacturing setting
- 5+ years of in - plant manufacturing experience
- Experience working with small molecules
- Experience working with CMOs
