Director of Procurement - Digital Transformation
Our client is seeking a visionary Director of Procurement - Digital Solutions to drive their Source to Pay technology platform into the future. Based in Hartford, this role offers an opportunity for strategic leadership within a dynamic environment.
As part of our team, your primary focus will be on owning and advancing our product vision and strategy for robust procurement solutions using Coupa. You'll ensure seamless day-to-day management while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Your responsibilities include:
- Crafting and communicating a forward-looking vision coupled with an actionable roadmap that balances immediate deliverables against long-term objectives.
- Staying abreast with market trends to inform product decisions that keep us ahead competitively.
- Ensuring integration across various teams including Finance, IT, Strategic Sourcing & Operations ensuring alignment towards common goals.
Skills required:
- Procurement Expertise: Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay processes vital for overseeing complex procurement ecosystems effectively
- Strategic Management: Proven experience managing outsourced services; ability to navigate high-level organizational changes seamlessly
- Technology Acumen: Familiarity with service-based architectures or cloud technologies essential for driving innovative solutions
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years' relevant experience along side educational qualifications such as Bachelor's degree in MIS/Business/related fields. Direct exposure handling provider-management roles would be advantageous alongside any prior involvement within source-pay digital platforms like Coupa/Ariba.
