Business Development Manager - Europe
We are seeking a Business Development Manager - Europe for our client, a global market leader in the logistics industry, to drive business growth across Europe. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building client relationships and expanding market presence. The preferred location for this role is Germany, with applications welcome from across the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Develop new business relationships and expand the Contract Logistics (CL) pipeline across Europe.
- Market Awareness: Increase client awareness of the company's logistics services through sales channels, networking, and industry events.
- Tender Management: Lead the preparation of tenders for CL opportunities, ensuring bids are tailored to client needs.
- Cross-Selling: Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across different countries and services.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed personal sales targets to support the company's growth in Contract Logistics.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years of business development experience, preferably within the contract logistics or 3PL (third-party logistics) industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, sales, and financial proposal skills. A proactive approach to market engagement and relationship-building.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
