Position: Federal & Government Proposal Pricing Analyst
A global leader in designing, manufacturing, and servicing across aerospace and industrial equipment markets is actively looking for a Government Pricing Proposal Analyst. This role will be responsible for developing and preparing FAR15 compliant proposals, supporting cost analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, interfacing with audit agencies, and maintaining financial models to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare FAR15 compliant proposals
- Support material and labor cost analysis for proposals and audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposal development
- Interface with DCAA and DCMA during audits
- Assist in preparing responses to customer audit requests
- Develop and maintain financial models for decision support
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Understand Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Bills of Material (BOM)
- Compile and analyze data to determine the best course of action
- Ensure compliance with TINA Threshold for contracts valued at $2M+
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 3-5 years of experience in a government contracting environment
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Proficient in MS Office, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and business understanding
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong team contributor
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cost analysis for proposals requiring Cost or Pricing Data (COPD)
- Familiarity with FAR 15 and TINA Threshold compliance
