We are working with a global leader in the automotive industry as they expand their operations in Germany as they search for a Head of Logistics to join their team. The company is poised for future rapid growth with plans for a new production site to be built beginning late in 2025.
As a Head of Logistics, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing logistics best practices, guidelines and principles in line with the overall business strategy.
- Management of all logistics processes to ensure the smooth flow of goods.
- Continuous improvement of logistics processes in order to maximise efficiency and reduce cost.
- Management and development of logistics employees.
- Negotiation of contracts with external logistics partners.
- Define and monitor KPIs and departmental targets.
Key skills include:
- Business fluent English + German is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in logistics and inventory management.
- Experience within the Automotive industry is favoured.
- Evident experience leading and developing a team
- Customer orientated negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
