Head of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics
Location: Near Bremen (45 minutes to 1 hour drive)
Position Type: 3-5 days per week on-site
About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics to join our dynamic team at a heavy manufacturing company in the automotive industry. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for automotive components.
- Source and manage suppliers globally.
- Implement new processes and improve existing ones to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure greater coordination between procurement functions.
- Monitor supplier performance and address supply and quality issues.
- Cultivate excellent internal stakeholder management.
- Be present in the office 3 days per week with flexibility on these days. Or supplier travel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement within the automotive or related sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and process optimization.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to be present in the office 3 days per week.
- Strong internal stakeholder management skills.
- Innovative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in procurement.
