A rapidly growing start-up based in the vibrant city of Munich, we are revolutionizing the mobility, recycling and energy sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our supply chain strategy to support our ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and market demands.
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Finance, to drive seamless integration and alignment across the organization.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize risks.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives to streamline operations and enhance scalability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and leverage them to drive innovation within the supply chain function.
Requirements:
- Experience or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, (in a start-up or fast-paced environment is beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning and quality management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing supply chain strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis and supply chain optimization tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels of the organization.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
- Fluency in English and German.
