Role Overview:
As the Head of Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role within the site's management team, driving strategic initiatives and optimizing supply chain operations. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will oversee procurement, planning, logistics, and customs, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information. Leading a dedicated team, you will implement best practices, foster continuous improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the supply chain team, including procurement, planning and logistics, and import/export customs.
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with assembly processes.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals for efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability.
- Drive the adoption of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of open communication, coaching, and professional development within the supply chain team.
Qualifications:
- Over 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for KPIs and performance metrics.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
